The Role

We are seeking a highly organised, customer-focused HR Coordinator to join our People & Culture team. This role acts as a central support resource for HR teams across Australia, providing coordination and administrative expertise that enables the effective delivery of People & Culture services across the organisation.

Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will work collaboratively with People & Culture teams, leaders and employees nationwide, supporting a broad range of HR activities and ensuring processes are delivered consistently, accurately and professionally. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a national HR function while building strong relationships across diverse stakeholder group

What we’re looking for 

You are a proactive and detail-oriented HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and providing exceptional customer service.

You will bring:

  • A qualification in Human Resources or working towards a formal qualification or equivalent HR administration experience.
  • Experience in a Human Resource, people services, recruitment, payroll, workforce systems or shared services environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience using HRIS platforms, with SuccessFactors experience highly desirable.
  • A willingness to learn and develop across a broad range of People & Culture activities.

 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Provide first-line support for HR enquiries and employee-related administration.
  • Coordinate employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, workforce changes and employment documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR system data.
  • Prepare and issue employment correspondence, statements of service and employee communications.
  • Support employee relations activities through administration and case coordination.
  • Assist with workforce reporting and data integrity reviews.
  • Coordinate position descriptions, organisational structures and position management processes.
  • Support People & Culture projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage employee uniform administration and other People & Culture service processes.
  • Coordinate invoices, meetings, records management and general team administration
