Podiatrist

 

As part of our growing Multidisciplinary Care team, you will work and collaborate with other Podiatrists, alongside Occupational Therapists, Nurses and Therapy Assistants. 

We offer a wide range of Podiatry Services in our person centred approach to best care, that has demonstrated positive impacts on our clients. Bring your expertise to this dynamic and rewarding role. Recognise each client’s uniqueness to create individual goals and implement treatment plans accordingly.

We are open to hearing from Podiatrists seeking full time or part time work (3 days per week), across the South West Country region (Bunbury & Busselton). Working days are between Monday to Friday and from 8am - 4.06pm.

What we're looking for

  • Relevant qualification in allied health profession with demonstrated experience in field of expertise.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to use appropriate treatment and assessment methods.
  • Well developed communication (verbal, written and listening) and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, carers, families and direct care employees.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide education, support and coaching to direct care employees, clients and their carers. 
  • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills to effectively plan and prioritise work.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously together with a team focus to participate and contribute to business unit and organisational objectives.
  • Problem solving, negotiation and influencing skills to determine and implement appropriate care plans.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets and calendar management software to prepare correspondence and effective documentation.
  • A demonstrated empathetic and flexible approach to co-ordinate and schedule resources whilst responding to client needs.
  • A demonstrated understanding of service provision, allocation and compliance with contractual obligations. 
  • Previous experience in a community or residential environment within the aged care industry.
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate is desirable
