The Marketing Advisor – East Coast is responsible assisting with the development and implementation of an integrated marketing strategy, campaigns and activity to support the annual national marketing strategy, specifically state based activities for NSW, QLD, Victoria, ACT, Tasmania and South Australia. The Marketing Advisor will also provide marketing advice, assistance and recommendations to the business as needed on various business as usual projects.

Best practice marketing science should form the basis of the team’s strategic contribution, and to this end the Marketing Advisor – East Coast is accountable for providing the best possible and timely service to the business, and for managing the currency of content in publications, and the website.

What we're looking for 

To thrive in this role, you'll need to: 

  • Assist with the research, consultation, and development of national and state-based marketing plans that deliver on relevant consumer and recruitment attraction goals. 
  • Coordinate the implementation of approved marketing plans, including working with internal stakeholders and teams, and external agencies. Actively monitor and evaluate outcomes and adjust in real time as agreed with the Brand & Marketing Lead; Director, Brand and Marketing; and Project Sponsor. 
  • Coordinate Silverchain’s custom events, sponsorship activities and presence at expos, including the development of evaluations.  
  • Draft and coordinate publications, digital content, and other marketing activities from brief to production to achieve business objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain the master content and key messages documents, ensuring all messages are up to date and approved, and consistent across all channels. 
  • Monitor and report on progress of projects to organisational stakeholders, identifying barriers and opportunities, providing advice, negotiating and influencing toward recommended solutions. Use insights gained to inform future campaigns.  

 

The role

As a Marketing Advisor: 

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a marketing, communications, or related role operating at a similar level of responsibility, with demonstrated success in delivering integrated marketing initiatives and stakeholder engagement outcomes within the NDIS, aged care, healthcare, community services, or related sector is highly advantageous.
  • Highly developed written communication, editing, and content development skills, with proven ability to create compelling content across traditional and digital channels while adapting tone, style, and messaging to suit diverse audiences and stakeholder groups.
  • Demonstrated experience in the planning, coordination, and delivery of sponsorships, industry events, conferences, exhibitions, and promotional activities, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and maximising stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven expertise in developing, managing, and distributing high-quality content strategies that attract, engage, and retain targeted audiences across multiple communication channels.
  • Experience designing and implementing lead generation and lead nurturing programs, including the development of customer engagement strategies that support business growth and conversion objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to identify innovative and practical solutions in situations where precedents, policies, or established processes may not provide a clear pathway forward.
  • Extensive experience developing, interpreting, and consistently applying brand standards, style guides, and corporate identity frameworks to ensure brand integrity and consistency across all communications and marketing activities.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence, negotiate, and build productive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Exceptional planning, project management, organisational, and time-management skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, competing deadlines, and concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, including advanced editing, proofreading, and quality assurance skills, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and professionalism across all marketing and communication materials.
