CHSP Manager, Coordination

 

This pivotal role is responsible for supporting CHSP Coordinators within the CHSP Program.

 

The Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) is one of the programs to help older people stay independent and, in their homes and communities for longer.  CHSP provides entry-level home support for older people who need assistance to continue living independently.

  • Industry experience - strong client experience focus gained through working in a similar or comparable industry and a passion for community work
  • Demonstrated experience in leading remote teams to achieve business outcomes and KPIs
  • Ability to build strong internal relationships including working within a multidisciplinary team
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, identifying issues and potential solutions
  • Advanced computer skills including word, excel, power point, database management

 

The role

 

  • Provide leadership, support and ongoing guidance to the Coordinators team
  • Lead, mentor and coordinate team through regular one on one and team meetings
  • Actively support Coordinators to manage client complaint and incidents ensuring end to end management
  • Assists Coordinators to manage complex client needs and high-risk clients
  • Resourcing a skilled team to meet the Client and program requirements
  • Actively identify the training and development needs and assist in the training development of the team members
  • Actively coach Coordinators to achieve performance goals as defined by the business in relation to team KPIs, complaints, incident and hazard management, client satisfaction and delivery of responsive client driven services
  • Reporting as directed by the Operational Manager and/or General Manager
  • Participate in and address issues relating to team performance and conduct
  • Regular auditing of client files
