Head of Funder Agreements – Osborne Park WA

 

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Funder Agreements, WA to lead the optimisation of commercial arrangements and ensure the fulfilment of key contractual obligations across our Western Australian portfolio.

 

Reporting to the Director, Commercial & Optimisation WA, this senior leadership role is responsible for ensuring that Silverchain WA is strongly positioned as a preferred partner across State and Commonwealth funded services.

 

You will lead a high‑performing team, strengthen commercial capability, and drive transformation that supports financial sustainability and strategic growth.

What we’re looking for 

  • Qualifications in business, commerce, or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience in contract management and commercial strategy in a health or aged care context.
  • Deep knowledge of health and aged care funding systems.
  • Proven experience enhancing commercial performance and driving transformati.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • High-level problem‑solving capability and commercial acumen.
  • Ability to build partnerships and influence at senior levels.
  • Understanding of not‑for‑profit healthcare environments (advantageous).

 

The Role

  • Provide effective leadership, setting clear objectives and fostering a high‑performance culture.
  • Oversee analysis and evaluation of current commercial practices, operating models, and service agreements.
  • Lead management of relationships with government funders, partners and health organisations.
  • Provide specialist advice on contract management, pricing, service levels, performance criteria and reporting.
  • Develop and monitor contract performance reporting in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Drive commercial risk management and ensure visibility across all WA revenue agreements.
  • Support negotiation of commercial arrangements and development of business cases.
  • Contribute to commercial reform programs and innovative models of care and funding.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of health and aged care funding systems and industry trends.
