Enrolled Nurse – Community Specialist Palliative Care Service – South Perth Metro

 

Our Community Specialist Palliative Care Service supports clients and their families with life limiting illnesses at home. The focus is on quality of life through managing complex symptoms. Supporting complex care at home requires nurses that have specialist abilities relating to assessments and management of clients with changing needs.  

We’re seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our South Perth Metro team on a Permanent Part Time (60.8 hours p/fortnight) basis, 4 days a week and will include working Saturdays (working weekends will incur shift penalties).

 

If you have a passion for supporting clients with their end-of-life care in the community and can work autonomously, this could be the job for you. You will provide Immediate nursing care as required to clients as per the care plan, under the clinical direction of the Registered Nurse. This role will enable the main carer to take some much-needed respite.

What we’re looking for

 

You will be an experienced, multi-skilled Enrolled Nurse. Using your exceptional clinical assessment, decision-making and problem-solving skills and abilities, you will provide an optimum standard of care to our clients, making a real contribution to their health outcomes.

 

  • 2+ years Post Grad broad experience in an Enrolled nursing role.
  • Current Registration with the AHPRA, with zero notations.
  • A current Working with Children’s check.
  • Community experience will be highly regarded but not essential.
  • Compassion and enthusiasm, with a friendly approach.
  • Excellent Communicational skills both Verbal and written.
  • A current full Australian driver’s licence.
