The role

 

We’re seeking a talented Customer Service Representative to join our bustling inbound contact centre commencing Monday 11th May. In this role, you'll serve as the welcoming voice of Silverchain, dedicated to ensuring every interaction exceeds our clients' expectations. 

As the first point of contact, you’ll manage inbound calls from Silverchain’s aged and health care clients, care workers and various stakeholders, adeptly handling inquiries and ad-hoc requests with professionalism and timeliness.

Industry experience and/or a passion for community work is highly regarded.

 

You will be required to undertake 4 weeks of compulsory paid full-time training from Silverchain House in Osborne Park, which is easily accessible via public transport. 

 

 

What’s on offer

 

  • This is a full-time opportunity on a permanent contract, with working hours scheduled between 10am and 10pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Part time roles available requiring a minimum of 30 hours commitment per week, with the choice of working either 4 or 5 shifts Monday to Friday. 
  • $35.30 per hour. (shift penalties apply) + super
  • 4-5 weeks Annual Leave per year, with ability to purchase up to 4 weeks additional leave per year.
  • Once you have completed office-based training in Osborne Park and we've set you up for success in the role, you will be part of our hybrid work model.

What we’re looking for

 

To thrive in this role, you'll need to have:

 

  •  Customer service experience (ideally within a call centre environment).
  •  Strong communication and active listening skills. 
  •  Empathy, patience and a solution-focused approach.
  •  Resilience and a positive attitude. 
  •  Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. 
  •  Strong computer skills. 
  •  Industry experience and/or a passion for community work is highly regarded.
