The opportunity
Silverchain are seeking an experienced Subcontracts Officer to join the Contracts and Procurement team on a permanent full-time basis. This role will be based out of our Osborne Park head office and has an element on WFH also.
Reporting into the Senior Subcontracts Officer & Contracts Administrator, the Subcontracts Officer responsible for delivering the end-to-end contract lifecycle process and administration of contracts that Silverchain enters with third parties to enable Silverchain to deliver services pursuant to its revenue contracts.
The role will role will involve contract administration, drafting from templates provided by the Legal Team, liaising with internal stakeholders and supplier management.
Key responsibilities
The Subcontracts Officer will have the below major responsibilities:
- End to end contract lifecycle administration.
- Ensure subcontracts are reviewed and approved by relevant stakeholders and executed in accordance with the Delegations Policy.
- Aligning suppliers and Silverchain stakeholders through strong compliance review.
- Support supplier relationship management and performance reviews, with internal stakeholders as required to ensure suppliers are meeting their obligations under the contract.
- Document any supplier performance issues and work with internal stakeholders to help stakeholders to develop solutions.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve supplier performance and enhance value for money for Silverchain.
- Ensure that all executed contract documents are properly maintained in the CMS.
- Support the Senior Subcontracts Officer & Contracts Administrator to proactively identify opportunities to improve contract management processes and procedures.
- Support the Senior Subcontracts Officer & Contracts Administrator to implement strategies to improve contract management practices.
- Support and assist improvement to all relevant systems, policies, processes, procedures, workflows, databases, intranet and SharePoint sites as required.
About you
- Previous experience in relevant field, such as procurement and supply, law, finance, commerce, project management or similar are highly desirable.
- Relevant experience in contracts management and administration.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Highly efficient time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships and performance.
- Knowledge of contract management best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with Agiloft or similar contract management systems.
- A focus on integrity of information - including the ability to critically analyse data, evaluate relevance and identify discrepancies/inconsistencies.
