The Opportunity
Silverchain are seeking an experienced and passionate Recruitment Resourcer to join our expanding team. Work within the Volume recruitment team supporting our Aged Community Care team.
This is a part-time role offering 60.8 hours per fortnight / 4 days per week.
We are seeking a motivated individual to assist in the day-to-day sourcing, screening & selection of Aged Care providers (Care Workers/Domestic Assistants). This role focuses on candidate attraction, screening & interviewing within one of the busiest portfolios for Silverchain.
Accountabilities of the role
- High volume of screening resumes and applications to match candidates with job requirements.
- Conduct initial phone screen to assess candidate suitability and interest.
- Providing detailed information about the roles to potential candidates.
- Carrying out video interviews via Microsoft Teams.
- Responding to candidate enquiries.
- Maintaining efficient administrative processes and practices; and
- Maintain candidate databases and tracking systems.
- Identify and attract candidates using various sourcing strategies.
- Build relationships with potential candidates for future job opportunities.
- Assist with the compliance and onboarding process for new hires.
- Attend Career Open Days across the metro area as required
This role will suit a candidate with previous high-volume resourcing experience, and an individual who aligns to our values being - Best Care, every person, every time. This should be reflected in your daily recruitment activities.
You’ll be comfortable working in an autonomous role, but confident in the support you can draw from your colleagues.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience using candidate management software.
- Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage high volumes of applications.
- Have confidence to manage conflicting priorities whilst working remotely.
- Be proficient in MS software packages.
- Demonstrate knowledge of end-to-end recruitment process (including selection, compliance and onboarding)
- Be confident to provide clear & concise updates to candidates and stakeholders alike.
- Experience in a similar recruitment position will be highly regarded.
