The opportunity
We're on the lookout for a skilled and driven Recruitment Consultant to join our People & Culture team on a full-time, fixed-term basis for at least 12 months.
In this pivotal role, you’ll report to the National Talent Acquisition Business Partner and take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process for all national corporate roles across the business. You’ll play a critical part in identifying top talent, managing key stakeholder relationships, and embedding an executive search mindset for high-priority roles.

Key responsibilities
The Recruitment Consultant will have the below major responsibilities:
- Coach and provide collaborative support to business leaders and ensure that all recruitment activities are conducted in accordance with Silver Chain policy and procedures.
- Working with key stakeholders on forecasting and planning workforce needs.
- Work in cohesion with key stakeholders on drafting position descriptions and innovative job adverts.
- Own the end-to-end recruitment process.
- Interview and engage with candidates at all levels.
- Investigate and present different recruitment advertising options to business leaders on different strategies to use for various roles and various locations.
- Actively headhunt candidates from online tools.
- Network extensively within the Healthcare industry to maximise talent streams.
- Create talent strategies for highly competitive and hard to fill positions.
- Strong stakeholder management.
- Deliver high quality resource solutions.
About you
- Previous experience in sourcing candidates in a competitive market.
- Previous experience sourcing candidates via executive search functions.
- Demonstrated exposure to recruitment processes and functions to provide an effective recruitment service.
- Excellent organisational skills including a high attention to detail.
- Experience with the use of advanced sourcing techniques - head hunting, professional networking and social media sources to find high calibre talent.
- Developing knowledge of legislation relevant to recruitment to comply with legislative requirements of recruitment and minimise risk.
- Well-developed communication (written, verbal and listening) and interpersonal skills to develop effective relationships, consult with key stakeholders and provide effective advice and expertise.
- Demonstrated relationship building, networking, negotiating and influencing skills to provide leaders and employees with recruitment support and advice.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with a team focus to participate in and contribute to project teams, business unit and organisational objectives.
