The opportunity

We're on the lookout for a skilled and driven leader to take on our National Talent Acquisition Lead role which we are actively searching for, in this role you will join our People & Culture team on a part-time, permanent basis.

 

In this pivotal role, you’ll report to the HR Services Manager to lead the charge in attracting top talent across Australia. If you love thinking big, working smart, and powering inclusive, values-driven hiring, this is your moment. You’ll oversee and drive national strategies, manage cutting-edge tech like SAP SuccessFactors, and play a key role in programs like Silverpride and the RAP—all while keeping things high-impact and cost-savvy.

 

This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, strong technical expertise in SAP SuccessFactors, Compliance Architecture and Talent Pipeline Development. You will need to be competent in strong stakeholder engagement to deliver high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective recruitment outcomes across the organisation.

We are looking for someone who has a passion for Talent Acquisition, but more than anything we are searching for that unicorn who loves working with HRIS Systems.

 

Key responsibilities 

The National Talent Acquisition Lead will have the below major responsibilities: 

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment and compliance systems, including Success Factors (recruitment, marketing, onboarding) and external advertising platforms.
  • Lead Corporate Recruitment and Recruitment Administration teams.
  • Develop and implement national talent acquisition strategies to attract, recruit, and retain top talent.
  • Design and implement streamlined, best practice recruitment processes and tools.
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding via system improvements and candidate feedback.
  • Coordinate onboarding modules and ongoing compliance tracking.
  • Track and analyse key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire).
  • Support delivery of Silverpride, RAP and Diversity & Inclusion initiatives aligned with recruitment outcomes.
  • Lead financial sustainability projects, including recruitment agency cost management and national supplier agreements.
  • Manage advertising platform contracts and allocate budgets to state teams, providing quarterly spending reports.

 

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualification, desirable.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, including developing and implementing recruitment strategies, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary recruitment principles, workforce planning and Australian employment legislation and standards.
  • Experience with SAP Success Factors (Recruitment and Onboarding), and talent sourcing techniques such as headhunting and networking.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Diversity and Inclusion, with the ability to promote and implement inclusive hiring practices.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and organisational abilities, including data-driven decision-making, time management, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proven capability to lead, coach, and mentor teams, both autonomously and collaboratively.
