The opportunity
Silverchain are now looking for an experienced Marketing Advisor to join our Brand and Marketing Team. The Marketing Advisor is responsible for development and execution of a range of marketing projects, and specifically leading planning and coordination of sponsorship and events.
This is a hybrid working opportunity, typically 3 days working from home and 2 days working from the office in Perth.
Key responsibilities
The Marketing Advisor will report to the Marketing Manager and work closely with a range of cross functional teams to achieve business objectives, providing advice and recommendations to the business. Including:
- Draft and coordinate publications, digital content, and other marketing activities from brief to production to achieve business objectives and meet deadlines.
- Coordinate national and state commitments to sponsorships, and events and expos.
- Assist with the research, consultation, development of national and state-based marketing plans that deliver on relevant consumer, partner/referrer, and recruitment attraction goals.
- Coordinate the implementation of approved marketing plans, including working with internal stakeholders and teams, and external agencies.
About you
The ideal candidate for this role is someone degree qualified, experienced, hard-working and interested in working within the healthcare and not for profit sectors. You will have a real passion and enthusiasm for marketing along with being a creative thinker. You are flexible, consultative and approachable with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail. You will also meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or similar.
- At least three years in a similar level role.
- Strong writing and editing skills across print and online channels, with the ability to adapt writing style, tone and voice for different audiences.
- Experience in the planning and coordination of sponsorships, events and expos. Webinar hosting experience highly desirable.
- Experience in delivering on multi-channel marketing and communications strategies, both digital and traditional.
- Experience creating and distributing valuable, relevant, consistent content to attract and retain a clearly-defined audience.
- Inventiveness and ability to problem solve when the range of options may not be available or where practices and policy does not provide for a solution.
- Ability to plan and execute paid media campaigns.
- Strong experience developing, working with and consistently applying brand and style guidelines.
- Demonstrated influence and negotiations skills of stakeholders both internal and external.
- Highly effective planning, organisational and personal time management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, including editing and proof-reading skills.
- Ability to provide sound advice and recommendations to others in relation to the evaluation, analysis and resolution of specific issues and subjects.
