The opportunity

 

We have an opportunity for Resource Coordinators x 2  to join our Resource Team on a permanent full time basis.

Role 1

Osborne Park based. Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm

Role 2

Osborne Park OR Maddington based. Monday to Friday. Shifts start between 6am - 9am and end 2pm - 5pm. Must be flexible to start anytime between those time frames.

Following a training period of up to 6 weeks that is entirely office based (Osborne Park or Maddington depending on the role) the role can then be of hybrid nature, working 2 days in the office and 3 days from home each week.
 
Whilst reporting directly to the Resource Coordinator Team Leader, you will liaise daily with our various teams and clients to schedule and roster care services to clients ensuring quality services are provided within the required timeframes.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for efficient rostering of our direct care providers to ensure continuous high-quality service reaches all our valued clients. Reporting directly to the Resource Coordinator Team Leader, you will maintain open lines of communication with your immediate team and stakeholders to stay up-to-date on resource allocation and how it impacts service delivery.

 

Key tasks include but not limited to:

  • Schedule and roster direct care providers and balance rosters to ensure quality service provision to clients.
  • Analyse provider availability and rounds allocated to ensure most efficient use of resources.
  • Monitor, manage and action notifications received from providers.
  • Maintain the integrity of data within management systems to ensure accurate rostering and to achieve contractual and accreditation compliance.
  • Process planned and unplanned leave including holiday period leave. 
  • Verify and follow-up discrepancies in direct care providers' timesheets as well as authorisation
  • Provide administration support to the Line Manager and team as delegated.
  • Support and implement continuous improvement of business processes.

About you

 

The ideal candidate for this position has excellent computer literacy skills, outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) and has a strong eye for detail. You will also meet the following criteria:

  • Previous experience in a rostering/scheduling position is desirable
  • Flexible to work varied roster within operating hours and willingness to travel other offices in Perth metro region
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal & listening) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to autonomously manage time and organise workload
  • An empathetic approach to dealing with the sensitivities of clients and providers scheduling issues
