The opportunity

Silverchain has vacancies for Registered Nurses who has a strong interest in Continence, if you don't have the continence certificate at this stage that's okay as we will support and cover the cost in you obtaining one, once you have your certificate you will move up to a level 2 Registered Nurse.

These opportunities will see you join their team on a Permanent Full Time Basis.

1 role will be seeing client for the Perth Eastern Metro suburbs

1 role will be seeing clients for the Central and South Perth Metro areas

Key Responsibilities

You will assess client’s needs, create management plans, educate, and provide support to the clients and their families and provide ongoing care in this field. You’ll have the knowledge and understanding about product subsidy schemes so that you can advise on the correct access to suitable products for each client to improve their overall quality of life and independence in their home.

About you

  • Current AHPRA Registration with no notations
  • Post Graduate certificate in Continence or happy to work towards one
  • Working with Childrens check
  • Preferably 3 years post graduate nursing experience
  • Clinical skills in the areas of continence assessment & management and client/family education
  • Ability to respond to dynamic clinical management situations
  • Compassion, empathy and enthusiasm, with a friendly approach
  • Excellent Communicational skills both Verbal and written
  • A current driver’s licence and access to a registered & reliable car (KM allowance is paid)
