The opportunity
We are currently hiring experienced and passionate Care Aides to join our Aged Care Team on a casual basis. Our busiest period of care delivery is between 7:00am – 3:00pm, Monday - Friday. If you are available for some, or all of this time period then we would love to hear from you!
Servicing the following suburbs: Bickley, Beechina, Boya, Carmel, Chidlow, Darlington, Forrestfield, Glen Forrest, Gooseberry Hill, Greenmount, Gorrie, Guildford, Hackets Gully, Hazelmere, Helena Valley, High Wycombe, Hovea, Mundaring, Mahogany Creek, Mt Helena, Kalamunda, Koongamia, Lesmurdie, Maidavale, Malmalling, Parkerville, Pauls Valley, Pickering Brook, Piesse Brook, Reservoir, Sawyers Valley, South Guildford, Stoneville, Walliston, Wooroloo

Key Responsibilities
Our Care Aides deliver exceptional care and support to our clients, enhancing and encouraging participation in their own care to maintain their independence, where possible. Responsibilities include a range of personal care tasks incl. showering, grooming, toileting etc. and other support such as medication assistance, meal preparation, domestic assistance/general housekeeping tasks and social support in the community. Care Aides will follow a predetermined schedule, travelling from home to home, therefore having unrestricted access to a vehicle and the ability to follow a digital schedule and care plan autonomously, via a mobile app, will be essential.
About you
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, HACC, Disability is highly desirable, although not essential.
- Those with a relevant Certificate will require a minimum of 3 months relevant care worker experience. Those without a relevant Certificate will require a minimum of 6+ months relevant care worker experience (FTE).
- Experience working in a home care/community setting is highly desirable.
- A valid Drivers’ License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition, is essential.
- Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app, will be essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills are essential.
