The Pricing & Services Analyst is responsible for the provision of specialist and strategic analysis and insights on costing, pricing and strategic performance for Silverchain. The role will lead the definition, development, and implementation of best practice solutions to support modelling of required pricing and margin outcomes on specific contract tender submissions and business performance initiatives.

The role holder ensures that governance standards, tools and processes can be applied to pricing and costing tasks for delivery to the State Executives and Commercial teams. The role will work with the Group Executive, Commercial, Business Development and Finance teams to provide robust analysis and advice on performance, costing of services and the development and promotion of initiatives to increase efficiencies, optimise cost recovery and improve product viability.

What we're looking for

To thrive in this role, you'll need to have:

 

  • Desirable to have 5+ year’s experience in a comparable analyst role in aged-care, health and/or pricing/costing field.
  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in one of the following: Business, Leadership, Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Economics, Engineering, Statistics or Mathematics.
  • Proven ability to deliver insights that demonstrate business value that have improved business processes / efficiencies / increased revenue etc.
  • Experience in working with large and complex datasets to draw out insights.
  • Experience in developing robust cost and price modelling practices, standards and frameworks desirable.
  • Accounting, finance or pricing certification is desirable, but not essential.

  • Support costing and pricing analysis and processes.
  • Adhere to cost and price modelling practices, standards and frameworks and ensure they are embedded into all Silverchain services.
  • Transform data and information into strategic performance, pricing and costing insights that inform high level strategy and tactical decision-making.
  • Develop transparent benchmarking of services using contemporary data driven methodologies. 
  • Produce analytic tools to effect business process changes to support an efficient and cost-effective, and data informed business operations environment.
  • Ensure the privacy and security of data assets are maintained in accordance with all legislative requirements and regulations and meets the expectations of key stakeholders.
  • Ensure an agile and disciplined approach to delivering outcomes for the business in collaboration with key stakeholders.
