Therapy Assistant  - Bunbury & Busselton

Silver Chain have an exciting opportunity for experienced Therapy Assistant to join our growing, diverse and dynamic teams in both Bunbury and Busselton.  The role will see you undertake rehabilitation, correctional and physical activities as directed by Allied Health Professionals such as Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to meet client needs. 

We seek up to 5 days availability between Monday to Friday 9am – 3pm. 

Please note that you must have Cert 4 in Allied Health, or evidence of working towards. We may consider applicants who hold a Cert 3 in Allied Health, depending on experience.

The Role

• Assist with allied health programs for clients in the home, within the scope of ability and training to meet client needs.
• Communicate with team regarding care provided to clients on an ongoing basis to ensure activities and care provided is consistent with changing client needs.
• Identify areas for ongoing training and development.
• Maintain confidentiality of information

What We’re looking for

• Cert 4 Allied Health Assistance (or working towards) as a minimum
• Demonstrated experience in aged care activities and/or speech/mobility/occupational and/or cognitive therapies.
• A current Australian Driver’s Licence.
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate desirable but not essential
• Well Developed communication, time management and organisational skills.
