The opportunity
Join our passionate and experienced multi-disciplinary care teams as a Physiotherapist on a permanent, full time basis. Utilise your knowledge and skills to support our diverse client base across a range of our programs, including Aged Care, Palliative Care and Hospital Avoidance. You will be instrumental in enhancing their independence and quality of life through client centred assessment and treatment plans.
This position will be offered as Monday to Friday, giving you your weekends back!
Key Responsibilities
- Use a holistic approach to conduct client assessments and develop individualised care plans
- Provide client-centred care that promotes independence within the community
- Develop strong relationships and communicate effectively with clients, families, care providers and health professionals to establish goals, provide support and education
- Work autonomously and build meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients
- Manage time efficiently and meet client and program requirements.
About you
- Australian Accredited Degree in Physiotherapy and AHPRA registration
- Experience in community care and undertaking comprehensive, holistic assessments and developing care plans
- A commitment to client centred practice
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
- Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously
- Valid Australian driver’s license
