6 month Fixed term Contract

 

Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in aged care while driving measurable outcomes for clients, teams, and the wider business? We have an exciting opportunity for a Support at Home Utilisation Advisor to join our growing Care Partnering team.

This newly created role has been designed to maximise client package utilisation under the Support at Home Programme, ensuring clients receive the greatest possible benefit from their funding and services. Supporting our Western Australian operations, this is a hybrid position offering a mix of face-to-face engagement and remote working flexibility.

As a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, you will proactively analyse funding utilisation, identify opportunities to improve performance and productivity, and influence positive change across the business. Leveraging data-driven insights, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders to optimise client outcomes, strengthen operational effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement.

A key focus of the role will be coaching, mentoring and influencing Care Partners and Managers, building capability, enhancing decision-making, and embedding best-practice funding utilisation strategies. Your ability to engage, inspire and support teams will be instrumental in creating sustainable improvements and delivering exceptional outcomes for clients.

The Role

 

  • Monitor and analyse client funding utilisation, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to optimise package use and improve client outcomes.
  • Provide data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to Care Partners and Managers, supporting early intervention and achievement of utilisation targets.
  • Coach and educate Care Partners and operational leaders to build capability in funding management, utilisation optimisation, and best-practice approaches.
  • Collaborate with Care Partnering, Service Delivery, and leadership teams to address barriers to utilisation and drive shared accountability for outcomes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including reporting, processes, and tools that enhance utilisation visibility and performance.
  • Ensure all activities comply with Support at Home program requirements, funding guidelines, and Aged Care Quality Standards, while monitoring utilisation-related risks.

What we’re looking for

 

You will have a strong background within the Aged Care Industry and have recent demonstrated Support at Home experience and/or strong knowledge. In addition you will be able to demonstrate the following experience, skills and attributes:

 

  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis, financial analysis or resource planning, ideally within health or aged care.
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret data and translate into practical actions.
  • Understanding of aged care funding models, including package-based
  • Advanced problem-solving and prioritisation skills in complex, high-volume environments. A demonstrated understanding of health care within a community environment.
  • Strong communication, coaching and influencing skills to guide stakeholders without direct authority.
  • High level of proficiency in data systems, spreadsheets and reporting tools.
  • Decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to balance commercial outcomes with client-centred care principles.
