The Senior Program Coordinator will provide professional-level support to the Program Director and PMO Lead in the delivery of a strategic, organisation-wide multi-year digital transformation program across Silverchain.

Operating across all phases of the program lifecycle, the role is independently accountable for coordinating program activities, supporting governance frameworks, financial tracking and budget management, supporting procurement processes and stakeholder engagement. 

This position contributes to the development of systems and processes within the PMO, ensuring continuous improvement in program administration, governance, financial management, reporting and communication. The Senior Program Coordinator will provide informed advice and recommendations to management peers, supporting the successful delivery of complex and high-impact reform initiative.

What we're looking for

To thrive in this role, you'll need to have:

 

  • Minimum 5 years experience in program/project management coordination or support in large-scale digital transformations.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple stakeholders.  
  • Excellent written, financial, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports and documents for senior stakeholders and boards.  
  • High-level of financial skills and understanding of program financial management, including forecasting. 
  • High attention to detail in document control, meeting coordination, financial tracking and reporting.
  • Proficiency in project tracking and collaboration tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, DevOps. 
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement and coordination, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and follow-ups. 
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and supporting senior leaders such as Program Directors and PMO Leads. 

 

The role

As a Senior Program Coordinator:

 

  • Prepare high-quality reports, briefing papers, and board-level documentation, providing clear and concise updates to senior stakeholders. 
  • Support procurement activities, including the development of RFPs and coordination with strategic partners, contributing to the planning and execution of procurement processes. 
  • Maintain and enhance project tracking tools (e.g. MS Project, DevOps), ensuring accurate milestone tracking and progress reporting. 
  • Provide professional administrative support to the program office, contributing to the development of systems that improve operational effectiveness. 
  • Collaborate with other business units and strategic project teams, offering advice and support to ensure alignment with broader organisational objectives.
